    Create the event

    Give it a name, a budget and a date. You get a private organizer link to manage everything.

    Add participants

    Add people one by one, or paste the whole list at once. Everyone gets their own link to share however you like: text, chat or email.

    Draw names

    Set rules like who should not draw each other, then run the draw. Everyone sees only their own match.

Is Secret Elf free?
Yes. Secret Elf is free to use, with no accounts, ads or sign-up.
Do participants need an email address?
No. Everyone gets a private link that you share yourself. They can protect it with a 4-digit PIN.
Can I stop couples from drawing each other?
Yes. Add exclusions so certain people never draw each other, or requirements to force a pairing.
Can the organiser see who drew whom?
The matches are hidden from the organiser by default. The draw results can be revealed for troubleshooting, so the organiser can join in as long as they do not peek.
Do I have to add participants one by one?
No. Choose "Add several" and paste a list of names, separated by commas or line breaks. Everyone is added at once and gets their own link.
